Edward Foss – President

Ed Foss brings over 35 years of construction development experience to Foss Development.  He has been the cornerstone and catalyst in the creation, design, and implementation of the Foss Development family.  His years of construction and brokerage knowledge have allowed him the unique ability to understand and weld these two distinct, but integrated realms into what has grown today to be the vibrant offspring known as Foss Real Estate Sales and Development. 

Mr. Foss has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, and has held an Indiana state brokerage license for over 34 years.  He has hands on experience regarding most aspects of real estate, from site selection to full development.  He is highly regarded and respected as an industry leader in all disciplines of utility and site development work. 

 

Matthew Foss – Vice President

Matt Foss has over a decade of combined experience in real estate, construction, and land development.  The combination of these disciplines has positioned Matt to be extremely effective and well-rounded in the real estate industry.

Mr. Foss holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in marketing, with a minor in entrepreneurship.  Matt is a second generation prodigee, utilizing the years of experience he has amassed under the direction of the family’s construction business, which has allowed him the unique opportunity to seemlessly transition into the real estate development world.  Matt holds an Indiana state brokerage license, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Kevin Morris – Executive Director of Real Estate

Kevin Morris has over twelve years of professional management exprerience, with seven of those twelve years directly involved in real estate.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management as well as an associate’s degree from Ball State University, with specialization in entrepreneurship.  He has results oriented hands-on exprerience with various aspects of real estate covering the entire spectrum of acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, leasing, marketing, new construction, redevelopment, tenant relations, budgeting and financial control.  He is currently pursuing his accredidation towards his CSM – awarded by the International Council of Shopping centers.  Mr. Morris currently holds an Indiana state real estate sales license, while pursuing his brokerage license.  He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping centers.

Cindy Foss – Executive Director of Finance

Cindy has over ten years of combined experience in the real estate and construction industry, with concentration in finance and accounting.

She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and one in accounting, obtained from the University of Saint Francis.  Cindy also holds an Indiana real estate salesperson’s license, and has so for over 11 years.  She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the financial and administrative aspects of the company.  She is also a member of the International Council of Shopping centers.

Wendell (Gab) Horn – Senior Project Manager / Estimator

Mr. Horn brings over 48 years of construction and engineering experience to Foss Development.  He has worked on projects ranging in scale from the updating and remodeling of existing structures, to ground-up construction of entirely new steel mills, as well as construction management and estimating for multiple highway projects.  Most recently, he has worked on numerous projects involving the construction of new municipal water mains and sewer lines.  His vast range of construction knowledge makes him an indespensible asset to the team.

He attended Tri State University before the outset of his career, however, his vast knowledge base and years of experience came mostly from the school of hard work and tenacity gained first hand in the industry.  Personally, he proudly served in the United States Navy, with four years of active duty.  He served as a radioman, second class and received training as a “frogman”, now referred to as the Navy Seals.  He spent over 37 months on a U.S. Destroyer, while his travels took him as far East as the Meditteranean Seas.
